Early in my career, I worked full-time for Berwick Offray designing gift packaging, wrap, bags, and ribbon for Target and Walmart, churning out Christmas designs year-round. Wandering store aisles during the holiday season to see which designs made it onto the shelves is a core memory, and a reason why, to this day, I care far more about how a gift is wrapped than any sane person should.
